Out with the old and In with the new.

The Natimuk Cafe has now been sold. This weekend just gone, 26/27/28th May was our last in management. Yes, it happened all so very quickly that I never got around to updating the blog – only Facebook. This will probably be the last post or update to the website/blog. I have included the more recent posts on the announcement to sell and our last days in management. Once again, huge and heartfelt thanks to our staff over the three years, a number who were still with us as we turned the key for the last time. Good news is that they will continue to work with the new owners Leeanne and Kevin Lindorff and wow everyone with their brilliance. Way to go Andy, Jo and Yensha. There is no way we could have done it without them. Thanks to our wonderful and loyal customers. We have loved serving you. See you on the other side. Of the counter.

Three fantastic years working with our great staff – thank you, and serving our amazing community and those from further afield who were passing through. Thank you all for your support and generosity in welcoming us. The evolution of the cafe continues and as we say goodbye, we would like to welcome Leeanne and Kevin Lindorff to the helm. They are full of heart for this new phase of the cafe. Be excited. We are. Karen, Glenn, Tracey and Cameron.

The 8th of last month heralded 3 years of owning and running The Natimuk Cafe. Thank you all our dear customers for your support over the years. And what a ride it has been so far. Learning curves – we’ve had a few of them. Challenges – see learning curve. Tears – hardly any. Laughter – until our sides split. Enjoyment -you absolutely betcha! We’ve made so many new friends and also learnt so much more about the friends we already had. From 55 degree flat whites to extra blistery hot lattes to strawberry milkshakes after a long ride. Excitement over the apple cake with the healthy yoghurt to the fruit toast cooked just right. And always alongside this, the amazing sense of community that Nati positively overflows with. For us, the cafe’s position in this community was the driving force behind many of the decisions we made and we love the fact that people came and planned and laughed, cried and just talked here. About crops and germination. Of that one climbing route that shredded skin and gave goosebumps. A little of everything and everyone. And ate and drank our offerings. And told us that they loved it.

All of these things = joy. The time has come though, that life’s priorities have shifted and the decision has been reached, that our time in the cafe is coming to an end. It is therefore with a somewhat heavy heart that we – Tracey, Cameron, Karen and Glenn announce that The Natimuk Cafe will be up for sale. Business and building. It is not our intention to cease trading before sale. We would dearly love someone to see the great opportunity that the cafe presents, get excited over their own possible improvements and take it on to bigger and better things. We’ll have more on the business opportunity/sale soon. Finally but most importantly, we can’t thank enough our amazing staff, a number who, have been with us from day one. You’ve been there with the learning curves, the challenges, the laughter and the enjoyment and there is no way we could have done this without you. Two words – You rock
